About Dr. Goodhart
Dr. Goodhart is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in complex joint replacement and reconstruction of the shoulder and knee. He received his graduate degree from Colgate University, Hamilton. Further, he completed his M.D. and residency in orthopedic surgery at Ohio State University. During this time he was Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery and won several research awards. He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Oklahoma where he served as a team doctor for Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and several local high schools.
Dr. Goodhart earned his Eagle Scout and has been named a Texas Super Doctor in 2004 and 2013 by Texas Monthly magazine. He currently serves on the Texas Health Resources Ben Hogan Sports Medicine Physician Panel and is the former team physician for the Coppell Cowboys and The Colony Cougars. He currently sits on the Executive Board, as is the Operations Committee Chair for OrthoTexas.
Dr. Goodhart has practiced orthopedics in Carrollton since 1990. He lives in Flower Mound with his wife and two sons.
